I took this shot on my Polaroid Snap instant camera. This camera is hard to really get the composition right because the viewfinder is vague, but I actually was really happy I got everything in this shot I wanted.

Vintage lunch
These lunchboxes were so colorful against all the dulled colors of the other vintage items in the shop. I didn’t know who Julia was, but I looked it up, and it’s a sitcom from 1968. According to Wikipedia, the show “is notable for being one of the first weekly series to depict an African American woman in a non-stereotypical role.”
I do, however, know who the Pink Panther is behind the Julia box! I don’t know what the third one was for, I didn’t look at it too closely, but it has horses on it.
Texaco gas
I took this shot on my Polaroid Snap instant camera with the sepia filter. The composition wasn’t exactly the way I wanted it, but I took a similar shot on my Holga medium format film camera, so we will see if it turns out there instead once I develop it.
A teddy bear and the mysterious woman
There’s so much potential history in this shot. A handmade quilt, a tattered teddy, and a mysterious woman in the upper left. I didn’t even see her when I took the original photo, but now every time I look at this shot, I wonder who she was and if she had anything to do with this little bear.
Teacups
I think I have a slight obsession with teacups. But, if you look in my cabinets, I instead have a ridiculous collection of coffee mugs. Perhaps I was always meant to be a tea drinker.
I took this shot with my Instax Wide 300 instant camera.
A tilted desk
I took this shot on my Polaroid Snap instant camera on the sepia setting. I feel like this is a desk Beatrix Potter might have sat at. I know, I’m probably way off on the era of this, but I end up involving Beatrix Potter whenever possible.
I also took another shot of this on my Instax Wide 300 instant camera. They both have such different moods.
Going back in time
I found this clock nestled amongst some old books, and the two complemented each other well. It looked like the clock closed, which seemed like a good idea if you wanted to read and not be bothered by the time – there’s nothing like getting lost in a good book, especially when it has the scent of age.
